A skeuomorph is a derivative object that retains ornamental design cues from structures that were necessary in the original. The effort to make something feel familiar to speed understanding and acclimatation was fairly popular in design systems during mass adoption of computers and cellphones. I designed these sorted icons based on skeumorphism principals.
